Question about USB-C connectors 2295018-2 and 2305018-2
Hello,
I am trying to incorporate two types of TE Connectivity USB-C connectors 2295018-2 and 2305018-2. When I view the footprint it seems the necessary slot cutouts to accept four of six tabs are just shown as overlaid pads which wouldn't work. Is it possible to generate these footprints to correctly show the cutouts?

The slot cutouts still seem to be incorrect. When I load the library into Eagle, I see overlaid pads. After looking at the 1-2295018-2 datasheet, it shows the pads as slot cutouts. Can you update the footprint to reflect the cutouts?

We have updated the 1-2295018-2 part because it was created following an old method, you can download it and import it now into KiCad. We wanted to mention that the cutouts are properly showing in 2305018-2, we just sent you an email.

I just used this part and it doesn't work. Actually, I used the A124378CT-ND Digikey and SnapEDA part file for Eagle Cad for 1-2295018-2 and that does not have the cut-out. So my board is toast now... Is there a working Eagle Card version for this part (with the proper cut-out)?
